La Z Boy of Seattle’s Chris Washko Supports Seahawks’ Ben’s Fund

Ben’s Fund provides grants to families who have a child on the autism spectrum and need help covering costs that are associated with medical bills, therapies, and other numerous aspects that help to support the child.

Ben’s Fund was launched in 2012 by Seahawks GM John Schneider, wife Traci, and the Seattle Seahawks Women’s Association, and in partnership with Families for Effective Autism Treatment (FEAT) of Washington. They held their Prime Time dinner event last week and La Z Boy of Seattle’s Chris Washko was in attendance.

The charity dinner included Stuffed Peppadew Peppers, French Brie Crostini, Ahi Poke on Taro Chip, Thai-Basil Chicken on a Crispy Wonton, Grilled Certified Angus Beef® Filet with Grilled Vegetable Brochette, Sharp Cheddar Croquette, and Fingerling Mashed Potatoes, Bite-Sized Assortment of Banana Bread Pudding, Dark Chocolate Cheesecake, Crème Brûlée, Salted Caramel Brownie, and Key Lime Tart; and wine & beer generously provided by Col Solare, Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte, DeLille Cellars, Anheuser-Busch and Georgetown Brewing Company.
