The Tukwila Community Center will be holding a 5k Fun Run & Walk (as well as a restoration event) this Saturday to celebrate Earth Day!
The run and walk will occur along the Green River Trail and will begin at 9:00 am. Following the 5k Fun Run & Walk, people will be invited to assist their restoration efforts along the trail by planting a shrub or tree.
Registration is $15 (in advance) and $20 (on the day of the event). Children under 10 do need to register, but there is no fee. T-shirts will also be available for $5.
